My husband is passionate about his skincare and his skincare regimen. We love Dermstore because it’s been highly recommended by other skincare conscious members of the gay community. For his birthday I looked for months reading reviews about boxes and found that the reviews in magazines and online about the Dermstore boxes were spot on. We were looking for a box where he would be able to use most of the products and this was it. One of his favorite brands is Dr Brandt and there was a Dr Brandt product in this box! Awesome! One little note there was a hiccup with our shipping but in true Dermstore style the minute I let them know about it by email they tracked it down and got it right out to us. We order from Dermstore quite a bit and that was the only time we had a shipping issue. So even with the shipping issue most definitely five star - Kyle and Cody

This box had a good mix of small samples and full size (or near full size) products. The Alterna Caviar CC cream was a good size but unfortunately left my hair feeling dry after using. The Obagi cleanser was a nice one to try, so far it's been good for my sensitive skin.

I've gotten the beauty fix box for years and they always have quality useful product, I share some items but mostly I purchase extra boxes because at least one of the full size product's savings, pays for the monthly subscription. Items like Dr Brandt, Glytone, Skyn, and Skin Medica are great products and seriously expensive. I recommend this subscription box and its products to all my friends.

I already wrote a review of the April box, but need to add that the hero product for me has been the Obagi cleanser! I have almost a drawer-ful of cleansers that promise different things, but none have ever made good on the claim of leaving your skin feeling soft and not stripped. This one does. At this point, I have so many I need to either clean out or use up, but I will definitely be purchasing this at some point.

The April box included the eye puffiness cream. This stuff only works if you do not apply anything else to your face such as moisturizer etc. so that was not for me. The face cream was only a dab or product . How can you tell if anything works with such a little sample size. The HA serum is good. I have not tried the PCA cream due to I’m not oily. The face wash again too small for any testing to see if I like it. Give products that people can actually use in bigger portions. I’ve used this box in the past and I canceled my may box because off product selections and size.

Better than others
I love Dermstore's BeautyFIX boxes. There's always at least 1, sometimes 2, full size products. Most are great quality. Compared to other product boxes I subscribe to this one always outshines the others! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because Dermstore used to include a product sheet of what the product is/does and how to use it appropriately. They no longer include those sheets I looking up the products are kind of time consuming. Bring back the info sheets!!
