LOVE this product
iS Clinical Active Serum is the ONLY product that has helped my skin to clear up. I developed severe acne from hormonal birth control and hyperpigmentation from picking at said acne, and I tried a multitude of treatments for it, including retinol and a topical benzoyl peroxide gel. The retinol absolutely destroyed my skin barrier and was just too intense overall for my sensitive skin. I was given a few samples of the Active Serum and it literally started clearing my skin up within 3 days! (and I'm still on the hormonal birth control, too). It has significantly lightened my hyperpigmentation as well. I do still have occasional breakouts but it is nothing in comparison to what my skin looked like before using this product. I would recommend it to anyone struggling with acne. The only downside is the price point, but Dermstore has good sales, so I would say to just keep an eye out!

I’ve purchased 2 bottles of this serum, it has salicylic acid, Arbtuin and natural plant extracts plus mentol (can be irritating for sensitive skin). Denatured alcohol is also the 4th ingredient on the list. This product helped brighten my complexion, regulate my sebum production and helped even out the texture of bumpy skin. Paula’s choice 2%bha is a great alternative with without menthol.

Really not worth the money
Such little bang for such a buck. I had high hopes for this product - I usually like iS clinical. But I really didn’t notice any difference in my skin. On top of that, the application is so tough - it comes in a dropper and is so thin that the “few drops” you’re meant to apply hardly make it to your face between when you’ve dropped them out and gotten to your face. Not great application, not great results…not worth the money.

So far so good
I’ve been using this for about 3 months now and am about halfway through the bottles. A little goes a long way. It absorbs right away and I like how it feels on my face. It has not cause any kind of irritation.
