This exfoliating formula first sloughs off dead skin to refine skin's texture. Then leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, as it infuses skin with botanical oils and vitamin C. I have wanted to try this and finally purchased it. The texture is not what I expected as it's different than any other mask I've used. I kept it on for 15 minutes and felt slight tingle-When washed off I agree that it feels slightly oily. Honestly when you dry your face it just feels smooth and polished. Will keep using two times a week and see if it helps my melasma and uneven skin tone.

It's hard to work with initially and leaves a very heavy residue on your skin. It feels like you wiped Vaseline all over your face. Even after i washed my face again i could still feel it. Also irritated the skin around my nose.

I will say my skin is a bit sensitive and exfoliating products are not something I use normally but I was not a huge fan of this mask especially given the steep price. It is hard to lather onto the skin and it was not just tingly for me, it stung. There wasn't a noticeable change after using this product. If I am going to spend this kind of money I expect results.

I love this mask! I have been using it twice a week for a month now and my skin is so soft~ and my hyperpigmentation is fading, no hormonal acne breakouts, and I am getting compliments on my skin again!!! Word of warning-start out leaving it on for five minutes and gradually increase the time. I leave it on for ten minutes, and around minute eight my skin starts itching and then burning. I don't know if I"ll be able to keep it on for fifteen minutes, but ten minutes seems to be my "sweet spot". This past week I have been following with a Vitamin C serum from another company, and it seems to be accelerating the benefits (if that makes sense).
