Plumping but could go without
Enjoyed using the product and I felt like it had a moisturizing and plumping effect. My skin has changed from oily/combination to combination/drier so I was looking for something that could boost my moisturizer. I don't think it was effective enough to become part of my staple routine. I can see this being handy for events and wintertime.

Desperate need for hydration!
I have used several products to hydrate my dry skin. I tried this and while I do love the consistency and how well it absorbs into the skin, I prefer the hyaluronic acid intensifier over this product. I will not be buying again.

Lovely feel
My skin has been so wonderful since switching to Skinceuticals. I use this gel as a stand-alone moisturizer in the day, layered over my vitamin c and discoloration defense. I swear my skin has never been better. I quit exfoliating as much also - only once or twice a week. I used to be on the pill and quit cold turkey. I dealt with breakouts all over my face almost non-stop until I finally found what works for me. My advice to anyone who can afford to is as you’re able, don’t give up trying things until you find what works for you. It’s an irritating process but once you find it, you’ve struck gold and the stress of looking for products disappears. Just refill when you’re out.

Loved everything about this except…
Okay so don’t get me wrong, this serum hydrated my skin and evened out my redness so much, but it caused me to breakout around my nose. It wasn’t anything crazy, but I tried it multiple times on different occasions hoping it was something else causing the breakouts. It’s definitely for sensitive skin, but something to watch out for!

this will never *not* be on my counter… i have fair, sensitive, red, combination skin and this one add-in made all the difference in the world to my skincare routine. hydration + barrier support completely keeps my dryness/rosacea/oily areas in check- *AND* helps my other products penetrate more effectively into the skin. i’ve repurchased at least 6x at this point- it’s a splurge… but keep an eye out for sales (+ you need such a small amount- one bottle can last 4+ months using AM and PM.).
