SkinCeuticals Micro-Exfoliating Scrub provides intense and even exfoliation without being harmful to delicate skin. Hydrated silica, a naturally occuring mineral, sloughs away dull skin and impurities while glycerin and aloe leaf extract hydrate, cool, and refresh the skin.
Key Ingredients:
- Hydrated Silica: a derivative of silicon dioxide and a naturally occurring mineral, hydrated silica lifts and removes dead skin cells, excess oil, and debris from the skin's surface
- Glycerin: a powerful humectant possesses water-binding properties that help deliver intense hydration
- Aloe Leaf Extract: provides cooling and refreshing properties that are linked to its moisturizing gel texture

Apply a small amount of cleanser to a damp face. Gently massage for a full minute. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with a SkinCeuticals toner as well as a SkinCeuticals antioxidant and sunscreen in the morning.

I have heard positive comments regarding SkinCeuticals but had never used any of their products prior to my purchase of this cleanser. I love the feel of this product not only when applying on my face, but the immediate softness you have after 1 use. Very convenient as you only need to leave on for 1 minute, so many other products suggest 10-15 minutes and who has that time? I am an African American who has oily skin and recently I started having breakouts. I was advised that exfoliation is very good to remove dead cells and bacteria. This exfoliator does what it says it will do.It exfoliates leaving the skin soft and supple. I use my Clarisonic brush for super exfoliation. It also helps the cleanser to permeate a little deeper to cleanse pores and get rid of toxins. After exfoliating, I wash with the Skinceuticals LHA Cleansing gel these products are the best. I just wish they were paraben free.
