Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

I have rosacea and highly sensitive skin, and this product doesn't irritate it at all. I've used it every morning on the dark spots on my forehead and cheek bones for about 3 months now, and I can see improvement. Useful, good for my hyper-reactive sensitive skin. I tend to tolerate very few facial products. Skinceuticals has been a life saver for me. I am able to tolerate almost everything in their line of products. Discoloration defense is handy when I've been in the sun and my spots start to become more pronounced. It works with continued use over time... But sometimes I see even skin tone, after two or 3 days, if I am consistent in applying.
