I purchased this cleanser because I wanted to step it up with my clinical skin care. I definitely noticed after five days of using my skin felt a bit dry and was peeling... I also had a bit of a break out but I continued using it only at night and now my skin is getting through the peeling stage. I feel like this is a wonderful cleanser to incorporate for extra exfoliation... You just have to get through the initial adjustment period.

I am 58 and have combination skin with some areas leaning towards dry. I use this cleanser once a week to help keep the blackheads in the oily areas around my nose and chin, in check. I use SkinCeuticals replenishing cream cleanser the majority of the time. At first use, the Glycolic cleanser broke out my skin, as I think it was clearing out impurities. I can only used it once a week but do feel it cleans out the pores and makeup when used. My skin feels really refreshed and clean.
